OLAM ISRAEL

"FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN,
UNTO US A SON IS GIVEN;
AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER. AND HIS NAME WILL BE CALLED WONDERFULL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE."
ISAIAH 9:6

Passover: Feast of Unleavened Bread. This special festival is to commemorate the deliverance of the Children of Israel by God from slavery in ancient Egypt, and their freedom as a nation, originally under the leadership of Moses. Passover is always held during the ‘Sign of the Ram’, in the biblical lunar month called Abib (Beginning of Months). A lunar month by definition is 29.5 days from full moon to full moon (a biblical New Moon). Abib begins with the Sign of the full moon, at the full New Moon renewal closest to the Spring Equinox, but appearing on or next after March 8th. The out of season Abib’s are called Adar II, or an Ecclesiastical New Moon, which happens 3 times every 7 years, as seen during solar years with a 13th lunar cycle (e.g. 2023, 2026, 2028).  Passover is celebrated on the fourteenth day at evening, commencing at dusk which is even, until the morning or the rising of the sun. Note: Passover is held during the dark moon or mid-month, and the sign of the times for the crucifixion is not the cross, it was the Solar Eclipse at Passover (Luke 23:43-46). Food and gifts are enjoyed, as well as thanksgiving to God. The doorposts of houses were traditionally marked, but now with Christ our Passover, our houses are marked by faith of Jesus (Yahushuah) as the Lamb of God. Only circumcised Israelites in the flesh and the heart may partake of Passover. This is followed by the Feast of Unleavened bread, which is celebrated for seven days. All leaven and yeast is put away, and unleavened bread is eaten for seven days, beginning with the 15th day of Abib as the first day, until the end of the 21st day of Abib, being the seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
